The three printed pages of Stop the Bus, fanned out
How it runs
1
Students fold one sheet into four and label the corners SEE, HEAR, TOUCH, SMELL. The printable page does it for them.
2
You call a place out loud. The cafeteria at lunch. Say go.
3
They race to fill all four boxes with words for that place. Single words count.
4
The first one done shouts Stop the bus. Pencils down, finished or not. Only the winner reads, and the room picks the word it liked best.

Why it works. Students who have just spent five minutes hunting for sensory words write differently when the writing starts.

Three or four rounds, a new place each time, so a different student wins.
